Hope everyone is enjoying the fine weather ! The sun has been bringing a lot of people outdoors which is great, and calm sea conditions have been amazing for spotting whales and dolphins. However, please remember to observe them respectfully by keeping your distance and not pursuing them, especially when on watercraft. We have had reports from concerned members of the public with regards to boats, kayaks, and most recently jet skis, getting way too close and following animals around. Important Marine Mammal Areas Workshop for the North East Atlantic.Last week the IWDG attended in person (Patrick Lyne) and online (Simon Berrow) the Important Marine Mammals Area (IMMA) workshop for the North East Atlantic in Hamburg, Germany.
