On Friday 24 March, a presentation and screening about humpback whales will kick off a packed schedule of events. On Saturday, IWDG officers will share news and stories along with a discussion of offshore renewable energy led by Sarah Kandrot of Green Rebel Marine, and Dolf Dhondt of Coastwatch will speak on #marineprotectedareas and how to engage coastal communities.![]()

Depending on the weather on Sunday morning, the plan will be to hold a land-based whale watch from a local viewpoint or to stage a simulated live-stranding exercise near the venue.![]()
