Glenua will host a collaborative presentation between Simon Berrow, of the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) and filmmaker, Tony Whelan of Canola Pictures in aid of the RNLI.

What to expect:
Simon will explore 30 years of the IWDG and will introduce the rich community of whales, dolphins and porpoises in Ireland to the audience. He will share some the findings of new studies from inshore to offshore waters, from coastal to deep-diving species. Also, he will discuss what we need to find out in order to conserve these magnificent creatures.
Tony will narrate some of the adventures he has shared with Simon over this period, not only in home waters but also from sailing south to the subtropics and Cabo Verde, to sailing north to the sub-Artic and Iceland on board the IWDG’s research vessel, Celtic Mist. His presentation will include excerpts from some of his films, including Ireland to Iceland – On the Trail of the Humpback Whale.
