Mist

Mist is the first known calf of Danú.  In Irish mythology mist was believed to be the loving embrace of the mother goddess Danú.  Like Nala, she had her first calf in 2019, and so her calf is our second 3rd generation animal.

Mist spent her formative years primarily in the inner estuary with her mother, but as she grew into adulthood she became more independent and was more frequently seen in the outer estuary.  Since giving birth to her calf in 2019 her movements have changed and she is now back spending most of her time in the inner estuary.  She was most frequently seen in a nursery group with Nala and her calf in 2020.
