There are lots of opportunities for volunteering in the group, from reporting a sighting or stranding to getting out on the water on Celtic Mist.

While we don’t have a formal volunteer programme at the moment, there are several ways you can contribute to our efforts: 

1. If you’re an IWDG member, you can join your Local Group where we share news, events, and activities. It’s a great way to stay informed and connect with like-minded individuals.
2. Citizen Science: You can report whale and dolphin sightings, as well as any strandings, through the IWDG website or our dedicated  IWDG Reporting app. This helps us gather vital data on these species and supports conservation efforts.
