On Sunday 21st August the IWDG delivered Whale Watch Ireland 2011. This All Ireland Whale Watch day comprised guided land-based whale watches at 13 sites throughout the four provinces. IWDG have collectively argued that this is a wasted opportunity, as the specimen, could have made a fantastic educational resource, not to mention the tourism potential that would flow from such a unique local attraction.
