The IWDG have monitored the movements of individual bottlenose dolphins from the Shannon estuary since 1993 and humpback whales around the Irish coast since 1999 using photo-identification.
For as little as 20 euro a year you can help us continue our important work to monitor these iconic species by contributing towards survey day fuel costs, camera equipment, data storage and maintaining the photo-ID catalogues for both species.
