Marine conservation charity Organisation Cetacea (ORCA) is pleased to announce the development of a new partnership with ferry company DFDS Seaways that will enable large areas of the North Sea to be surveyed regularly for whales and dolphins. This lovely photo of a minke whale Balaenoptera acutorostrata West of Aranmore Isl., Co. Donegal on 8/06/07 taken by IWDG member John Rafferty www.johnraffertyphotography.com shows that whales, especially the minke can be seen in all Irish waters.
