Veterinary Welfare Officer
Yasin first joined IWDG as a stranding responder and now takes on the role of Veterinary Officer whilst continuing to assist during live strandings and IWDGs DDRI Project. As VWO he hopes to continue maintaining and developing our standard operating protocols and further progressing our veterinary outreach, within clinical practices, regional laboratories and educational institutions. He has a great interest in conservation and zoo medicine, and One Health, engaging in projects both here in Ireland and abroad, which he does alongside his job as a mixed animal practitioner in Co Kerry.
