Beached Blue Whale Lies Dead Along Shore of Gorriti Island Near Punta Del Este Resort in Uruguay

The whale was found dead on August 8 and Uruguayan authorities are trying to pull the whale out of the area as a measure to prevent sharks from arriving near Uruguay’s most prominent resort.
