The IWDG received a call from Liz Erangey at 11:00 am on Tues. 4th Oct. 2005 that she was attending to a live-stranded dolphin at Garryvoe Beach, East Cork; which had stranded earlier at 09:00.

Mick Mc Carthy, Assistant Harbour Master, Cork Harbour reports dolphins bowriding container ships infront of Cobh am 02 Sept 05. These have been positively identified as bottlenose dolphins.
