During the summer 2018, the IWDG sailed to Iceland in search of humpback whales, but also to build relationships with Iceland, the country and its people. Why ? Because Ireland and Iceland share a humpback whale population, with the same individual whales recorded between these two island nations.
We wrote about the expedition, but we also carried film-maker Tony Whelan who sent short video clips (vlogs) of the place and people we met.
