This Spring the IWDG has been visiting its local groups all around Ireland’s coastline!
County by county, we have been meeting our members, hearing from experienced local data recorders, talking about local sightings and projects, and learning about Marine Protected Areas with Fair Seas’ #30×30 Campaign.
So far we have visited our communities Donegal, Wicklow, Dublin, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Galway, Cork and Kerry.
Meeting our members, hearing what’s important to them and building our all-island community is what this is all about. All members old and new are welcome to these free events, along with anybody interested in how they can support whale and dolphin conservation from their local area.
