The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) are extremely saddened by the recent passing of award-winning broadcaster and environmentalist, Dick Warner. Dick's passion and commitment to raising awareness 
on the beauty and fragility of our environment has helped effect change that will be far reaching beyond his years. He will be fondly remembered by the IWDG for the vital role he played in the IWDG’s first campaign to help establish Irish waters as a whale and dolphin sanctuary in 1991 and for being a true gentleman. He will be sorely missed.
